A 12 mile mountain biking route also starts from Tegg's Nose and runs through nearby Bottom of the Oven and past the Cat and Fiddle Inn before returning to the Country Park.'Riding the Ridges' is another cycling route starting at Teggs Nose which is a 17 mile circular route visiting Pott Shrigley and the Goyt valley area past Jenkin Chapel and Lamaload Reservoir.
The Gritstone trail, a 35 mile walking route from Disley to Kidsgrove runs through Tegg's Nose Country Park. The trail is popular for those enjoying shorter sections of the path like that from Tegg's Nose to Disley over 10 miles, or the entire trail can be walked over 2-3 days.

There are no day tickets for fishing at Bottoms Reservoir, coarse fishing is available only through membership of the Prince Albert Angling Society.
